The Department of Mathematics and Descriptive Geometry is organizationally managed by the Faculty of Wood Sciences and Technology, but it develops pedagogical and scientific research activities within the whole Technical University. The Department provides teaching of mathematical subjects at all faculties and almost all study programs. Teaching is focused on the differential and integral calculus of functions of one and more variables, linear algebra, differential equations, probability and mathematical statistics, descriptive geometry and technical drawing.
